I’m Anoushka Hem, a London-based creative working across music, theatre, film, and storytelling.

My work explores the intersection of creativity, identity, and human experience, with a focus on how people make sense of their lives in moments of uncertainty, burnout, and quiet ambition. Through songwriting, scriptwriting, and interdisciplinary projects, I’m interested in telling emotionally honest stories that reflect the complexity of being human.

With a background in theatre, music, and stage management, and being a proud alum of UCLA's School of Theater, Film and Television, I’m drawn to collaborative creative spaces, from writers’ rooms and rehearsal rooms to recording studios, where ideas can be developed collectively and brought to life across different mediums.

I’m the host of The Quiet Fire, a podcast and Substack exploring creativity, mental health, and navigating early adulthood without a clear blueprint. Alongside my creative work, I’m developing reflective tools and frameworks that encourage deeper self-understanding through curiosity, structure, and compassion.

At the core of everything I do is a commitment to creating work that feels grounded, thoughtful, and emotionally real: stories that help people feel seen, understood, and less alone.
